SCORING & PRIZES [SCORE] ======================================== CraftWorld hasn't changed much since LBP. Levels are still all about collecting prizes and scoring big. How you ask? Well by chaining score bubbles, the small bubbles with an orange glow in the middle. Each score bubble will net you 10 points on their own, but when chained by collecting 5 in a row you will gain a multiplier of x2. Continue this and increase the multiplier by one each time. Prize Bubbles, on the other hand, are the large bubbles and will supply the player with costume, items, decorations, stickers, and more. ========================================================================= 1. WALKTHROUGH [WLKTH] ========================================================================= Da Vinci's Hideout [WLK00] --------------------------------------- 1.0 INTRODUCTION [WLK10] ================================== If you imported your profile from LBP you will find your sack boy or girl all dressed up as you left them. A quick hello from our friendly narrator Stephen Fry and we're off. Run along the path, enjoying the music and the scenery. Along the way you'll come across your first tutorial. For those who don't know LBP, stop and learn how to CUSTOMIZE your sack person. For everyone else, run along unless you want to enjoy some humor. Not much further along you can shoot yourself some dev heads to reveal names. Nothing like some revenge for The Bunker level from LBP. If you're done, which took me quite a while, then wiggle your cute bottom along. Another tutorial will teach your brilliant little sack person how to show all those cute little expressions available. Do a little dance, shake a little booty and then run along. 1.1 LET's GET YOU MATCH FIT [WLK11] ================================== At the end of the introduction, a close incounter with the Dreamscapes nemesis the Negativitron, it's off to save Little Big Planet. Of course, being nearly snatched up by a vortex, The Alliance isn't exactly jumping up for your help. An all-too-sexy Avalon Centrifuge and forgetful Larry Da Vinci set you up with a Pod for your "experiments". 1.2 ROOKIE TEST [WLK12] ================================== Your first real adventure has finally begun. Although mainly used as a tutorial for all things sacky, you will gain some new items that will make your new sack person all too happy or a long time companion sack person enjoy new collectables. The level is as simply as heading to the right from your entrance and following the path until you come to the pillar of learning, at least that's what I'm calling it. You will find a treasure trove of items as you learn how to move within CraftWorlds 2.5d space and maybe even learn something new. |=============================================| | New Costumes | |---------------------------------------------| | Quina Wrist Ties | | Wooden Knight Boots | | Wooden Knight Helmet | | Wooden Knight Ruff & Armlets | | Wooden Knight Shield & Sword | | Wooden Knight Skin | | Quina Hat & Hair | | Quina Dress | |=============================================| The final level to the seemingly endless ride up the tutorial section ends with a gruesome death for your poor sack person, okay well maybe not so gruesome. Don't worry thoughmy sack friend, it's not permanent. For now though, you will be unable to prevent this for Aced status until you have the DA VINCI SPECS sticker. So just pop your head and head from the checkpoint to the right. The next area is designed to develop your sticker status in CraftWorld. Head over to Da Vinci and watch the video, if you like, and then use the provided stickers on the nearby wall. You'll know you have the right sticker on the right spot when you hear a fanfare noise. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Hand and Sleeve Sketch | | Hairy Leg | |=============================================| Keep on cruising to the right and a mouse nibbling on cheese points out some more prize bubbles. Drop to the section below and run left to collect them. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Grinning Lady Portrait Sticker | | Cheese Wedge Object | |=============================================| Onward you go, little sack one to the oh so fun jump pads. A new addition to LBP, these things are all kinds of fun. Sure they had those silly 2x pads in LBP 1 that you could never control properly, but now you can jump around all you want and even do some impressive flips. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Arch Sketch | | Pillar Sketch | | Chair Back Sketch | | Face Bracket Sketch | | Triangle Bracket Sketch | | Pillar Bracket Sketch | |=============================================| After all the fun filled jumpage, move along to a bookshelf full of goodies. No hidden items around so just grab what you see and continue on. The easiest way to get the two on the right is to jump down from the level above, but they can be reached by the jump pads as well. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Frosted Diamonds Material | | Wheel Sketch Sticker | | Iron Support Sketch Sticker | | Pedestal Sketch Sticker | | Old Wood Material | | Furniture Leg Sketch 1 Sticker | | Unfinished Old Man Sketch Sticker | | Black Starburst Sticker | |=============================================| Continue on and you can learn all about how to take pictures with your Playstation Eye, it even makes me wish I owned one. If you don't have an Eye enjoy the bubbly gifts and move on. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Black and White Photo Frame | | Body-Outline Frame | | Circle Frame | | Mouth Frame | | Photo Frame | | Red Star Frame | | Speech Bubble Frame | | Square Frame | |=============================================| Da Vinci is all about giving you bubbles in training and he continues this trend as you jump up the books and head on toward the finish line. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | 'Regal Fanfare' Stinger 2 Audio | | Curved Iron Support Sketch Sticker | | Lion Sword Object | | Handkerchief Decoration | | 'Regal Fanfare' Stinger 1 Audio | | Chair Studs Sticker | | Decorative Iron Hinge Decoration | | Bricks Doodle Sticker | |=============================================| All that's left to do is hop on the Scoreboard and check out your awesome score. Give your sack person a pat on the back, a little dance and giggle and you've completed your first level. Provided you got all the above items, you should get a 100% items and a level complete. The Aced will have to wait until later. |=============================================| | Level Complete Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Flyboy Skin | | Bellydancer Hair | | 'Da Vinci Tutorial' IntMusic | |=============================================| |=============================================| | Collect All Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Chair Seat Sketch | | Cog Sketch | |=============================================| See the revisiting for 100% section on how to Ace the level. 1.3 Grab and Swing [WLK13] ================================== Da Vinci isn't done teaching you new things, but that doesn't mean the fun has ended. In fact, the fun has just begun. While our beloved sack person can't fly, they sure can swing. First things first though. In order to swing, you have to grab onto an object and what better way to learn than tugging a little block into place to advance, but first use it to grab the prize bubble. |=============================================| | New Material | |---------------------------------------------| | Red Floral | |=============================================| Now moving one object to get up is all well and good, but sometimes you'll need to use objects in conjunction with each other to get prizes or advance. In this case, you'll need to move the wheeled object and the small box near enough to jump from one to the other. |=============================================| | New Object | |---------------------------------------------| | Open Book | |=============================================| Oh no, the bubble is stuck on top of the stack of boxes. No fear little sack person, simply pull them down to get the bubble, move one box to advance and grab another prize on the way. |=============================================| | New Materials | |---------------------------------------------| | Floral Brocade | | Damask-Orange Leaves | |=============================================| Why would Da Vinci have a sofa on wheels you ask? Why to move it of course. Drag the sofa under the bubble for your prize and then to the end to proceed. |=============================================| | New Sticker | |---------------------------------------------| | Paint Splodge-Dark Brown | |=============================================| It really is a shame that the little sofa had nowhere to go, isn't it? Well you're in luck. Head onward and a big sofa will await you for a nice roll down the hill. In order to get all the bubbles, drag the sofa to the lip, but not too close, and then position your sackperson on the lip of the left side. Yay, for bubbles. Now wait just a minute my little sack friend, running ahead gets you in trouble in CraftWorld. Head back to the bottom of the ramp and notice that another ramp heads down to the left. Take this for some jump pads and even more bubble fun. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Plywood Material | | Grapes Sticker | | Ada's Sackboy Sticker | | Full Glass Sticker | | Paint Square-Orange Sticker | | Square-Terracotta Sticker | |=============================================| Now all the swinging sack person fun comes into play. Don't just swing along without a care in the world when bubbles are around though. Drop down and collect the first bubble before continuing on to a string on swinging fun and a Challenge Key. Before heading on, after your swinging fest, drop down and jump as far into the background as possible and run right. You will find a hidden passage behind the stack of books, allowing you to gather all the bubblicious goodies you may have seen earlier. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Fountain Sketch Sticker | | Big Green Book Object | | Straight Iron Support Sticker | | Tower Wax Seal Decoration | |=============================================| Back to the swinging and down the books, you can move along if you want to miss an item behind the descending books. Simply jump back and behind the books to score another bubble. |=============================================| | New Decoration | |---------------------------------------------| | Da Vinci One-Story Tower | |=============================================| So you know how levels could only be so big in LBP? Well our problem has been solved with the fun and ingenius idea of level linking. Simply hop into a checkpoint and arrive at a whole new map, allowing for longer and more enjoyable levels. If you ever wondered how sack people took a bath, you quickly learn. Flush the toilet by grabbing the switch before heading out of the toilet, don't worry if you miss you will get another chance in a second. Make sure to dry your hands on the toilet paper for another proze bubble and head on to the right. In the next room, Da Vinci will introduce you to the new Grappling Hook. Remember how you possibly missed the flushing toilet? Well, why not run back there and grapple the soft switch for your prize bubbles. While you're at it... enjoy the disco and even more prizes in the grappling hook room. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Golden Picture Frame | | Red Pillar | | Furniture Leg Sketch 1 | | Iron Hinge Sketch | |=============================================| Tips for advanced swingers: Swing up and out and let go of the object you are holding onto. At the apex of your ascent, re-grab the object and you will gain a large amount of momentum. Continue this until you get the desired height and then let go to fly away. Head up the books to the right and get your swing on by getting the two prize bubbles in midair. If there's one thing all sack persons should know though, is that if there is a swing above than there is prizes below. Drop down and grab the three bubbles for more goodies. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Da Vinci Turret Decoration | | Furniture Leg Sketch 2 Sticker | | Small Flat Book Object | | Window Sketch Sticker | | Da Vinci Portrait Sticker | |=============================================| Moving on, another chasm below indicates more prizes to be had. Drop down and collect the bubble at each end before using the grappling hook to swing across the chasm and collect the two bubbles above. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Joystick Sketch | | Controller Sketch | | Wooden Da Vinci Logo | | Permesean Logo | |=============================================| A checkpoint awaits you and a whole new way to use the grappling hook is explored by simply standing under one and using it to go up or down with the lest analog stick. Head left an grab the prize bubble before moving on to the right and using the grappling hook to head down. Once you reach the ground, make sure you run all the way to the left to grab the hidden bubble. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Helicopter Sketch | | Da Vinci Specs | |=============================================| Drop down and you will encounter your first race. Unlike most races in LBP 2, this one is required instead of being triggered by a sticker placement. Races are all about time, the longer you take the less you score. Obtaining score bubbles will stop the clock for a fraction of a second and multipliers increase the pause. Before heading into the fray of racing though, head left and grab the two bubbles. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Green Spiral | | Fingerprint-Orange | |=============================================| Time to start racing, but I suggest you take your time to collect all prize bubbles on the way. Your first swing will give you access to two bubbles, on below and one higher between the two swings. Use the technique of gaining momentum to grab the bubble in the middle and continue swining along the path, getting another bubble on the way. On land again, use the grappling hook and jump pads to ascend to the next level. There are some hidden bubbles involved in the next swing. In order to reach the three bubbles in the air you'll need to grapple the ball above the jump pads and use them to propel you up. The trick to this is releasing as you ascend to throw your sack boy or girl straight up into the bubbles. Once you get these three, drop down and grapple the ball again and use the jump pads to get to the other side of the ball. The spinning circle is not only the way to get up to the ext level, but also the way to fly to a floating bubble. As your sack person reaches the left side of the circle let go to fly straight up and grab the bubble. If you miss, simply drop back down a level and try again. Once you have that you can cros the finish line and end the race. There are three more bubbles here before hopping on the scoreboard and finishing the level. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Da Vinci Two-Story Tower Decoration | | Masonry Trim Material | | Circle Square Sticker | | Magnum Opus Logo Sticker | | Orange Terra Incognito Sticker | | Newton Logo Sticker | | Da Vinci Ego Sticker | | Black Matte Wood Material | | Chandelier Sketch Sticker | | Cheese Wedge Sticker | |=============================================| |=============================================| | Level Complete Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Cog Princess Skin | | Combover Hair | | Sketch Hat | |=============================================| |=============================================| | Collect All Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Dowel Upright | | Big Red Book | | 'A Fifth of Beethoven' | |=============================================| |=============================================| | Aced Level Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Carrot Stick Hat | | Flyboy Hat | |=============================================| 1.4 Gripple Grapple [WLK14] ================================== Now that you have basic knowledge of the Grappling Hook, it's time to put that knowledge to use. Head to the right and get your grapple on right away while collecting a bubble. On the other side is some jump pads for more jumping fun, but beware of the electric ground by grappling the soft ball in the air. Swing right and fall on the jump pad to propel you into the sky and get a new bubble. Use the new ball to swing and collect two more bubbles before falling to thr ground. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Dowel-Horizontal Object | | Chalk Happy Face Sticker | | Chalk Round Scribble Sticker | | Chalk Dotted Diagonal Sticker | |=============================================| Running to the left and jumping up will get you access to two more bubbles before dropping down and getting your swing on to cross the electric ground and score three more bubbles. On the last swing make sure you get enough momentum to get on the ledge holding two more bubbles. Hop up the vertical jump pads and score one last bubble before the hard part. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Chalk Sad Face Sticker | | Chalk Spiral Arrow Sticker | | Chalk Speech Bubble Sticker | | Chalk Square Sticker | | Chalk Wavy Line Sticker | | Wooden Strut Object | | Chalk Curved Arrow Sticker | | Blackboard Material | |=============================================| I say the next part is hard, but only if you want every bubble and aren't good at timing. First, take out the two easy bubbles at the bottom of each metronome-like posts. The six prize bubbles in the air take a little more time and the trick is to use momentum between the two posts. If you can manage to grab a post as it is going away from you and then let go and grab it as it heads beack, you should get enough momentum to get all six bubbles. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Chalk Cloud | | Chalk Bounce Arrow | | Block of Handwriting | | Chalk L1 Button | | Chalk Zig-Zag | | Drippy Principia Logo | | Chalk Lightning | | Fancy Art | |=============================================| Once you're past that part you can use the jump pads to get a Challenge Key, but make sure to get the three prize bubbles first. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Wooden Valve Wheel Decoration | | Wooden Chandelier Arm Object | | Wrench Sticker | |=============================================| The spinning balls are actually a decoy to make you miss three bubbles hidding at the bottom. Simply grappl one ball and ride it down, grab the bubbles and then get off on the other side. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Hook Sketch | | Wooden Gear 2 | | Scoop Arm | |=============================================| The vertical climb of grappling points isn't as straight forward as it may seem due to some bubbles in between each ball. Make sure to grab all the bubbles from the three spinning circles before heading on. In total there are six. At the top there is another ball that you can move to reach one last bubble before some action. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Chalk Circle Sticker | | Chalk Arrow Sticker | | Chalk Square Scribble Sticker | | Chalk Hazard Symbol Sticker | | Chalk Line Sticker | | Chalk Star Sticker | | Wooden Chandelier Centre Object | |=============================================| Now for some action packed swingage. Using the jump pads alone will get you killed and that would be very bad for our little sack friend. What you need to do is grapple the ball before using the jump pads to swing around to the other side. The same principle goes for the larger area to the left and you'll find a prize at the top. Continue to the right and use the jump pads and grapple to ball and move it to the right, connecting to another ball on the way. At the checkpoint the wall will open and reveal your challenge. It's simple really, use the grappling point to swing to the other side, but watch out for the electric peg. On the other side are two prize bubbles before continuing with more jump pad/grapple obstacles. Head right and grapple across the chasm and score the prize bubble at the top of the vertical platform. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Chalk Skull Sticker | | Bookshelves Material | | Wooden Cog Wheel Decoration | | Streetlamps Sticker | |=============================================| Continue through the level via the grappling points, scoring the three prize bubbles on your journey and avoiding the electric planet, until you arrive at a checkpoint. Time for another lesson in momentum. Use the two swining grapple points to gain enough momentum to get the three bubbles above. At the next checkpoint, another dramatic reveal shows the same obstacle you encountered before, but with two pegs this time. Be careful on your way across and score three prizes on the other side, one of which is hidden behind the checkpoint. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Stripey Arrow Sticker | | Scoop Sticker | | Chalk Spiral Squiggle Sticker | | Da Vinci Child Sticker | | Chalk Leg Sticker | | Guitar Neck Sticker | | Canvas-Fine-Weave Material | | Jug Sketch Sticker | | Chopper Cabinet Sticker | |=============================================| Use the grappling points to traverse the moving walls without being squished and jump into the level link. On the other side, use the grappling points to get across while getting the three prize bubbles. Be careful not to get too low as the ceiling will lower and drop you into the electric floor. Da Vinci awaits you on the other side, as does a 2x challenge. If you are playing with someone great, but I will cover all co-op areas in the 'Revisiting for Co-op' section of this guide. To the right is another jump pad/grapple combo. Keep on going to grab the prize bubble, avoiding the electric flooring, and using the grapple points to swing around corners and keep your sack person alive. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Da Vinci Arm | | Wooden Gear 3 | | Medieval Nurse | | Stippled Brush | |=============================================| After all the jump pad/grapple combo section, you'll find two prizes awaiting you. Grab the bubbles and swing your way across the chasm, but be careful not to let go until the two platforms are apart leaving room for out sack boy/girl. Do this until you reach the next checkpoint and take a breather. More swining across grappling balls, which open the panels above you, and up some moving grappling points will win you two prize bubbles and get you to some jump pads that spring you upstairs. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Henry VIII Sticker | | Profile Mask Sticker | | Canvas-Coarse-Weave Material | | Chalk Dotted Circle Sticker | |=============================================| Head left and jump some more jump pads to reach some moving platforms with grappling points at the end. Use the balls and the platforms to reach the top and grapple another point, swining to get the two prize bubbles, and then land on the ground with another bubble. Head right, using the grapple to pull the soft lever and you have completed the level. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Blue tile Block Sticker | | Damask-Yellow Leaves Material | | Da Vinci Crest Sticker | |=============================================| |=============================================| | Level Complete Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Belly Dancer Wrist Ties | | Cog Princess Dress | | 'Disco Montage' | |=============================================| |=============================================| | Aced Level Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Straw Hat | | Tree Stump | |=============================================| You will not be able to get 100% items on your first playthrough, but with the Da Vinci Crest Sticker in hand you can go back and place it at the beginning. I will cover this in the 'Revisiting for 100%' section. 1.5 Bravery Test [WLK15] ================================== What manner of trickery is this? The minute you enter this test of your mettle a scoreboard is in sight. Why not just walk right over and... Well that wasn't as easy as it looked. Turns out those red blocks react to your sack persons proximity so I guess we'll have to go the long way. Head to the left and use the jump pads and red blocks to get to the prize bubble before continuing. On the next level is a red switch, but jump over it to collect the prize bubble on the other side first. Sit on the red button and a grabbable square will come to greet you. Use it to fly to the top and head left, throwing the switch to drop another square. Ride it up and nab the two prize bubbles before walking up and flipping the switches one by one to open a new area. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Carved Tree Stump Object | | Layered Cobweb Decoration | | Da Vinci Side Roof Sticker | | Metalmatice Logo Sticker | |=============================================| With the new area and jump pads ready to go I bet you're ready to move on. Well, too bad. First things first my sack friend. Drop down to obtain a prize bubble before heading upward. The two platforms on your left are timed, so make sure they are on their way up before crossing. Pushing the red button will reveal a bunch of jump pads and prizes to boot. Jump up, grabbing the bubbles, and head right. Once again the platforms are timed so make sure you get it right in order to snag another bubble. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Iron Support Decoration | | Da Vinci House Sticker | | Plain iron Hinge Decoartion | | Da Vinci Roofed Bridge Sticker | | Brown Shiny Wood Material | |=============================================| Now falling into a floor of electrified material is usually not a good thing, but CraftWorld is full of surprises. Drop down and you can follow the red blocks path upward. Now you may see two bubbles and more later, that you can't get at the moment, but you will be able to on a second playthrough. Head left, pushing the button to switch off the electric floor, and jump into the background and use the pads to go up. As before you will need to push the button to turn off the floor, but this time it's a little tricker. Hit the button, jump on the platform and get the left bubble first and head back to the start. Once you have that one, repeat the process, but this time go right and get that bubble. Now rush to the right and hit the nearby red button to extend the switches off length and head to the jump pads. The final electric floor has a trick up its sleeve. When you hit the red button this time the floor will charge up in sections. In order to get pass you'll need to hit the button and run quickly left. At the top of the tower you'll get to become live ammunition, but first jump behind the cannon to grab two more prizes. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Da Vinci Hideout Roof | | Da Vinci Main Roof | | Cloud Sketch | | Da Vinci Roof Light | |=============================================| Time to shoot through the sky my sack friends. That was fun, was it not? Even Da Vinci was impressed with your survival and rewards you with a Challenge Key for your efforts. Before heading on there are more prizes to be had behind the green book. Head right and grab them and then run left and drop down onto some jump pads. Grappling Hook in hand, head right and grab two prize bubble as you fall onto more pads. Grab the ball so you can make the distance and take a breather at the checkpoint. More jump pads await you here so try your best to avoid the electric walls and enjoy the right as you land next to Da Vinci and collect a prize. |=============================================| | New Stickers | |---------------------------------------------| | Blue-Green Leaf Motif Sticker | | Da Vinci Head Sketch Sticker | | Da Vinci Window Frame Sticker | |=============================================| There is a 2x section to the left, but for now I will skip this. Heading to thr right, use the grappling hook to ascend the tower and drop into the next checkpoint. Dropping is all and well, but when you can't see where you're going it's dangerous so grapple the ball and lower yourself slowly and collect the three prize bubbles. Scoot to the left and drop again, grappling so you don't shock your poor sack person. Swing around and get that prize bubble before letting go and grappling another point to swing to land and a bubble. |=============================================| | New Items | |---------------------------------------------| | Classic Cobweb Decoration | | Parchment-Covered Wood Material | | Wooden Grappling Hook Sticker | | Woodcut Flower Sticker | | Ochre Victorian Lady Sticker | |=============================================| Just a little further and you have mastered another level. It's time for a rollercoaster ride on rails, but we aren't going to ride it all the way. After getting the first bubble you want to let go of the ball and hold left to land on a platform with another bubble. By now the ball should be rolling past your right so grapple it an ride it down. As you reach the platform make sure you extend the rope enough to get under the platform for two more bubbles. |=============================================| | New Sticker | |---------------------------------------------| | Wooden Gear 1 | | Hand Sketch | | Da Vinci Round Window | | Da Vinci Wall Motif | |=============================================| A run to the left and you are at the scoreboard, finally. That doesn't mean there aren't prizes though my friend, after all you can still complete and aced the level. Larry Da Vinci has one last big hairy test for you and he's not very friendly anymore. The objective is to pull the outer wall switches to green to reveal a button you need to push. Now this may seem easy, but you will need to avoid the electric balls the ape is dropping for you and there are many stages. Stage 1: Simply run to each lever and flip the switches while avoiding the electric balls by going under them. This will change the set to reveal the red button. Hop up a level while the electric ball is going away and hit the button. This will reset the switches and advance you to the next stage. Stage 2: The pattern has changed to the yoyo-like walking dog. Each ball is on a seperate level and you need to use this to avoid getting killed. Depending on where the ball is heading, right or left, you want to run in the opposite direction and drop down to the switch. Unlike the upper level, where the ball goes all the way to the wall, the lower ball does not touch the switch. Using that knowledge, wait for the ball to start going away from you and run to the checkpoint (make sure to jump into the backgroun). Once the ball has gone past, run along to the other switch. This moves the stage up and reveals some jump pads. Getting to the red button may look hard, but it's not. Simply jump on the pad as the upper ball heads away and run for the button. Stage 3: Use the method mentioned before to flip both switches, but once you do run for the checkpoint and into it's safe cubby. As the stage changes you realize that the button has disappeared and the switches are red again. This time you're going to have to grapple the switches to get anywhere. Like before, the corners of the arena are safe and this is to our advantage. The key is to stay out of the air as much as possible, as swinging can toss you right into electric badness. While inside your safe cubby watch the patterns of each ball. Notice how they go up into their hand after each run? This will allow use to run past them as they go up, but first we need to get to a corner. Choose right or left and watch the ball. As it goes past your cubby, hop out and run the opposite way to the corner and grapple the switch. Now once the ball comes back into it's hand don't go running off or you will die as the other ball comes toward you. Wait under the hand and once the ball starts to go away follow it all the way to the other corner, be careful of the previous ball that is now following you. Grapple the switch and you'll see a big red blinking grapple point around the apes neck. In order to reach the point you will need to use one of the two grappling points that extruded from the wall earlier. While in a corner, wait for an electric ball to head away from you and then quickly grapple the outside point and then the inside point. This will kill the boss. |=============================================| | Level Complete Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | 'Go Get 'em' | | 'Disco Shisco | | Da Vicni's Hideout | |=============================================| |=============================================| | Aced Level Gifts | |---------------------------------------------| | Flyboy Glasses | | Larry Da Vinci | | 'Suspense' | |=============================================| 1.7 Our Newest Member [WLK17] ================================== Congratulations, you beat Da Vinci's Hideout.
