------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Line Rider 2: Unbound For Wii! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------| v. .50 | --------| TOC: -Controls -Story Mode -Freestyle Mode -Puzzle Mode -Copyright ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Controls: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In the upper left hand corner is the options. [Exit] [Options] [Reset Map] [Undo] It's pretty much self explanatory, except options. In options you can do the following: -On/Off Rider Vocals -On/Off Rider Expressions -On/Off Gridlines -On/Off Rumble -On/Off Tool Help -Grid Size 0-100 -Edit Music -Music Volume -SFX Volume In the upper right hand corner is the normal menu. [Item Selector] [Line/Curve Tool] [Eraser] [Free Pencil Tool] -Item Selector enables you to move a line once its been drawn -Line/Curve tool is your main tool. It uses the wiimote to draw a line and gives the line "Handles" to make it into a curve. If you've ever used Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator, its JUST like the pen tool. -Eraser - Erases lines you've made. -Free Pencil Tool - You can free-draw with this. Its pretty hard to use, make sure you have a steady hand! Note: For some reason in this game, you have to draw left to right or else the line wont work. If you're stuck, try that! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Story Mode: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Act 1-1: Section 1: Just draw a normal straight line. Act 1-2: Section 1: Just draw a diagonal line. The one that your line snaps to is fine. Act 1-3: Section 1: Draw a speed up line. Act 1-4: Draw a slow down line. Act 1-5 (Techdawg's Challenge #1): Section 1: Draw a speed up line that curves up into an "n" shape a little tiny bit, otherwise you will get too much speed to finish. Section 2: Draw a straight slow down line. Act 2-1: Section 1: Draw a very smooth speed up line curved like a "u", but only a slight smooth curve. Section 2: Draw a straight slow down lie Act 2-2: Section 1: Draw a slightly n curved line leading to the bottom line. My character did a flip and landed on his sled. Section 2: Draw 1/2 of the box in speed up, and the other 1/2 in normal - Just a straight line, maybe a slight u curve. Act 2-3: Section 1: Draw a nice smooth u shaped curved with Speed up, then erase the top 1/2 and make it a slow down. You will fly and get the coins, and barely make it to section 2. Section 2: Draw a small maybe 1/8th speed up line, then the rest normal line. Make it a smooth n shaped curve. Act 2-4: Section 1: Draw a normal line, just straight to the bottom line. Section 2: Draw a straight speed up line. Act 2-5 (Techdawg's Challenge #2): Section 1: Draw a fairly straight, with a tiny u curve NORMAL line... Now erase about the top 1/3 of it (if you have grid 50% on, erase it where the grid line is) now draw a speed up line, BUT don't make it go all the way to the end of the green box. Delete about a single "dot" from the edge. You barely clear it and get the red coin. Section 2: Make a smooth n normal curve, avoiding the loop entirely. Section 3: Draw a nice smooth somewhat-s shaped normal line.. Now erase the top 1/2 and draw a speed up line. Act 3-1: Section 1: Make about 1/2 of it normal, and 1/2 of it speed up, that will get you through the loop. Section 2: Make a small trap door line going up, then on the 2nd line, make a normal line going up. Section 3: This section is a little funny. You have to draw the line from the left to the right. Make a normal line about 1/2 way in a slight u curved smooth shape. Now make slow down line the rest of the way (left to right). Act 3-2: Section 1: Make a straight line - normal Section 2: Make a straight line - Speed up Section 3: Make a curve that's slow down - cake! Act 3-3: Section 1: Make 1/2 of it normal, and 1/2 of it speed up Section 2: Make a small line about 1/3 almost directly up, but pointed right a bit of Slow down. It will catch on the middle line and send you down Section 3 (which is section 1): No need to draw anything here! Section 4: Just a straight normal line. Act 3-4: Section 1: Draw a pretty sharp almost L shaped curve to the top line. Section 2: Draw a normal line curved smoothly with the next top line. Ignore the little lip on the line, its there to distract you! Section 3: Draw about 1/2 of a straight line as Speed Up. Now the rest a straight line as normal, but draw it a little bit slanted to the right. This particular level is REALLY hard, so don't give up!!! Act 3-5 Techdawg's Challenge 3: Section 1: Draw a straight speed up line. Section 2: Draw a straight speed up line, now go into zoom mode (Press Z and move the nun-chuck stick) and erase a little bit of it right under the top line. Now put a straight Trap door there. Section 3: Draw a speed up curve nice and smooth. Section 4: Draw a smooth slow down curve avoiding the loop. Act 4-1: Section 1: Draw a straight speed up line. Section 2: Draw a nice curved normal line. Its easy to line this up if you draw a line from the spot you "jump" off of, even though it wont be there... It's just to line it up. This is all 1 big curve, only 1 line needed. Section 3: Draw a nice curved speed up line. Erase a bit by the end of the loop and put a trap door there. Section 4: Draw a nice curved normal line. This is easily done by drawing a straight line, then moving the handles to MAKE it curved. Section 5 (Section 3 again): Make a little slow down line coming off of the line already there so you can catch it. Act 4-2: Section 1: Make a normal line till you get close to the loop drop off, now make a trap door short spot.. Now make a slowdown loop curve. Now off the end of the curve line at the top, make another slow down curve so you have better aim. Now make an extra slow down line off of the line you're supposed to land on. Section 2: This is pretty tricky. Make a slow down line STRAIGHT horizontal about 3/4 of the way. Now make a normal line coming off of the line with the coin on it (remember to draw left to right) Make it U shaped. Now make A speed up line about parallel with the normal line going down under the coin and towards the next line you gotta connect to. Erase a bit of the end of this line and make it a normal line so you don't get TOO Much speed. All in all there needs to be 3 lines drawn here... none of them touching each other. Section 3: Make a straight up normal line. Section 4: Make a straight normal line (avoid the loop).. now erase a tiny dot at the end and make it a speed up line. Section 5: Make a higher arced n normal line so it remains a smooth ride. Erase a bit of the bottom line and make it a speed up line. Act 4-3: Section 1: Make a U curved speed up line. Section 2: Make 2 straight lines one from the SW line to the NE line, and one from the NE line to the SE line.. Now erase the middle of both so you can get through. Section 3: Make a curved slow down line shaped like an n. Section 4: Make a normal u curved line to the bottom line. Act 4-4: Section 1: make a slow down line thats almost straight up. Section 2: You have to draw from the bottom to the top on this one. Complete the curve with a slow down line. Section 3: Draw a straight normal line 1/2 way through. The last 1/2 should be a slow down one. Section 4: no need to draw here! Section 5: Draw a normal line to the finish line, make it slightly n curved. Act 4-5 (Techdawg's Challenge #4): Section 1: Normal line. Section 2: Normal line - make it straight horizontal tilting up a bit. Section 3: This is another tough one. First draw a u shaped slow down line about 2/3 the way across. Now draw a J shaped slow down line off of that. (only the line should be curved not straight up and down) Remember to draw left to right. Now erase a little bit of the tail of the J and put a normal line. Now draw a slanted down normal line... now erase a bit of it and put speed up line on it to the finish line catching the red coin. None of the lines should be touching. This is really hard to get it to land correctly. But you can do it! Act 5-1: Section 1: Draw a small u shaped normal line to the top line. Section 2: Draw a smooth speed up u curve to the top line. Section 3: Draw a pretty much straight line speed up. Section 4: Draw a normal line slanted to the right to get to the coin. Now draw a second line (Going from bottom to top) from the bottom line up so it catches. Act 5-2: Section 1: Draw a speed up u curve about 2/3 the way up. Draw the rest with normal line. Section 2: Draw a smooth n curve to the right area, skipping the loop. Section 3: Draw a normal straight line. Section 4: Draw a smooth speed up n shaped line. Act 5-3: Section 1: Draw a normal straight line with a bit of speed up at the end. Section 2: Draw a speed line n curved. Section 3: Draw a speed up line going to the bottom line. Section 4: Draw a Slow down line thats slanted up. now another one under that thats slanted downish. Act 5-4: Section 1: Draw a straight line Section 2: You're going to have to make a curve here. Use a speed up for the curve TILL you get around the top, then use slow down. Section 3: Use slow down to make a smooth n curve. Section 4: Use a speed up curve to go around the loop till you get past the very top part, then us a normal line to finish it up. I took my loop out past the coins a bit so it's a bit more oblong. Section 5: Just draw a normal curved line with a little bit of speed up at the end. Act 5-5 (Techdawg's Challenge #5): Section 1: Draw a straight speed up line. Section 2: Draw a little bit of a speed line and the rest normal. Section 3: Draw a giant speed line. If you draw it exactly diagonal in the green box, you will land in the curve of the line. Section 4: Use a normal curve, finish the curve off of the top, and you will be all set! ...more to come... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Freestyle Mode: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Similar to the online game, it's a blank page - do whatever you want with it! Unlike storymode there's a ton more features, such as new lines (ex: Trampoline) and methods to alter the decorations... colors... stamps, text, line color, all sorts of things! You can save your creations for later. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Puzzle Mode: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here you can make your own levels and finish them. You can share them with others even! It has the same features pretty much as Freestyle mode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Copyright: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2011 - Cait - caiterz|AT|gmail|DOT|com Feel free to put it on any website, just leave my info in tact :) If you like it, drop me an email saying so, and I might do more ;3 <3 you all!
